The Vancouver Canucks, who struggled into the Olympic break, will try to restart their season on a positive note as they host The St. Nike Roshe Run Pas Cher . Louis Blues The Canucks may have needed the break more than any team as they went into the hiatus having lost seven in a row, including a winless five-game road trip to close out the pre-Olympic schedule. Vancouver has lost seven in a row in regulation for the first time since Dec. 26-Jan. 6 during the 1998-99 campaign and is on its longest skid of any kind since going 0-5-3 from Jan. 9-31, 2009. The Canucks have 63 points on the season, one back of Phoenix and Dallas for the second wild card spot in the Western Conference. The break did allow Henrik Sedin some additional time to heal from a rib injury that has held him to just two games since Jan. 18 and caused him to sit out the Olympics. "Henrik is landing this morning," head coach John Tortorella told reporters on Wednesday morning. "We hope hell play tonight." However, forward Ryan Kesler wont play tonight due to a hand injury suffered while blocking a shot for Team USA on Feb. 15. He did not miss time during the Olympics, but had an MRI on Monday and is day-to-day. Vancouver recalled center Kellan Lain from the American Hockey League on Monday. Eddie Lack will get the start in goal. Regardless, the Canucks will look to get on track while playing their next three as the home team. That includes March 2 in the Heritage Classic versus Ottawa to be played at BC Place, which features a retractable roof. The Canucks have won two prior meetings with the Blues this season and are 5-0-2 in the last seven encounters overall. Vancouver also is 3-0-1 in its past four versus St. Louis at home. T.J. Oshie had one of the more memorable experiences during the Winter Olympics, even if the American was unable to get his country a medal. Oshie was part of a Team USA squad that failed to medal in Sochi, though the 27-year-old was briefly the talk of the Olympics after he scored four times during an eight-round shootout to help lift the U.S. to a win over Russia during group play. The forward became a media sensation and U.S. hero for his clutch performance, though he fizzled out like the rest of Team USA, which failed to beat Canada in the semifinals before falling in defeat to Finland in the bronze medal game. "It was pretty crazy after that shootout. Its all a little bitter now that we get back and have nothing to show for it, but it was a pretty cool couple of days after that seeing some of my family on some major TV shows and stuff like that," said Oshie. The Blues do return a number of players who collected medals in Sochi, including gold medal-winning defensemen Alex Pietrangelo and Jay Bouwmeester of Team Canada as well as forwards Alexander Steen and Patrik Berglund, who picked up silver with Sweden. Steen continued his solid campaign that has seen him score a career-high 28 goals through just 46 games on the season. St. Louis comes out of the break having gone 3-0-1 in its previous four while winning seven of its last 10. The Blues are even with the idle Chicago Blackhawks for the top spot in the Central standings with 84 points, three behind the Anaheim Ducks for the most in the NHL. The Blues play their next three on the road looking to maintain that success, something Oshie believes his club can do. "I think so. Weve got some guys coming off some pretty big highs, getting a gold and silver medal, and weve got some other guys like myself and (forward David) Backes that are fired up we didnt get anything," Oshie said. "I feel like after big losses like that, it inspires you to work harder. Its always easy coming back to this group of guys." Homme/Femme Nike Roshe One Print Chaussures De Course Noir Lumineux Bleu Violet .L. - Kael Mouillierat and Jason Jaffray both scored in the shootout as the St. Nike Air Max 90 Rouge . The 55th-ranked Austrian saved five of the eight break points he faced and converted three of his 12 chances to defeat the Spaniard in 2 1/2 hours. Granollers, ranked 40 places above Thiem, was granted a first-round bye at the clay-court event. NEW YORK -- Danilo Gallinari outplayed Carmelo Anthony in the first meeting since they were swapped in a blockbuster trade, scoring a career-high 37 points as the Denver Nuggets outlasted the New York Knicks 119-114 in double-overtime on Saturday night. Al Harrington, another former Knicks forward, scored 22 of his 24 points after halftime for the Nuggets, allowing them to withstand Anthonys attempt to rally the Knicks after his poor shooting had them behind until the final minutes of regulation. Anthony finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds, missing 20 of 30 shots in the Knicks sixth straight loss. He missed 14 of his first 17 shots and heard boos, then made his final four of regulation to nearly help New York pull it out. Anthony, who spent the first 7 1/2 years of his career with the Nuggets before they granted him a trade, was on his way to a nightmare first game against them. He threw away a pass that Gallinari turned into the tiebreaking layup with 5:19 left in regulation, committed an offensive foul on his next possession that Nene followed with a dunk for a four-point lead, and Denver was up six with under 2 1/2 minutes remaining. But Anthony finally got going with some drives to the basket, and after Gallinari managed only one free throw with 7.3 seconds left, Anthony made a jumper with three defenders around him to tie it at 98 with 1.7 seconds to go. His three-pointer with 2:33 left in the first OT snapped a 100-all tie, and after Andre Miller tied it with a desperation three to beat the shot clock, Anthony knocked in a jumper to put New York back ahead with 1:02 remaining. It stayed that way until Nene was fouled grabbing the rebound of Anthonys missed jumper with 9.2 seconds left, making both free throws to tie it again. Anthony lost the ball out of bounds with 0.3 seconds left, and the Knicks dodged a bullet when Millers lob pass to an unguarded Corey Brewer hit the rim and bounced away, setting up another OT. The Knicks led for the final time at 111-110 on Anthonys jumper with 1:38 to play, but Gallinari made two free throws and Harrington hit a 3-pointer from the corner to make it 115-111 with 46 seconds to go. Nene had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Nuggets, who played without starting guard Arron Afflalo because of a groin injury. Miller started for him and had 14 points and 12 assists as Denver won its fourth straight and improved to 7-0 against the Eastern Conference. Anthony has been bothered by a sore left wrist for more than week, perhaps contributiing to his awful shooting in that stretch. Nike Roshe One Homme. He was frustrated enough to get ejected from Fridays loss to Milwaukee, and he was booed in the second half of this one as jumpers kept clanging off the rim. Besides Gallinari, the Knicks lottery pick in 2008, the Nuggets also got Timofey Mozgov, Raymond Felton and Wilson Chandler, who all were among the Knicks top six players. Thats a lot to give up even for a potent scorer like Anthony -- too much, many Knicks fans thought, and there were reports former team president Donnie Walsh did, too, but he was overruled by Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan. The lack of depth has been crippling this season, where the Knicks have no reliable scorer beyond Anthony and Amare Stoudemire. The Nuggets, meanwhile, thrive because of their balance, with a number of players capable of leading them in scoring. And though Denver general manager Masai Ujiri said after the deal that the Nuggets "got killed," theyve been much better since the deal. Denver came in with a 29-12 mark in the regular season since the trade, while New York was just 20-23. Anthony chatted with coach George Karl for about five minutes before the game in the Denver locker-room. One of the topics of their talk: the fact they hadnt talked since the trade. "I told him my philosophy is usually sometimes its best to wait about six, seven, eight months and next time we see each other we should go to dinner," Karl said. "And I think we will." The Knicks trailed 25-24 after one quarter then got to see their outside shots fall for one of the few times all season. New York made its first five three-point attempts of the second quarter, including three by Bill Walker, to open a 42-30 lead. The Knicks took a 54-46 advantage into the half, but they came out the locker room with four turnovers in the first 2:07 of the third quarter as Denver quickly got back in it, and Harrington made the final two baskets of the period to tie it at 72. Notes: The Knicks dont play in Denver this season. Anthony had been hoping to get that trip out of the way without having to wait until next year. ... Jeremy Lin had 28 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds, and Jerome Jordan scored 26 points as Erie beat Maine 122-113 on Friday night in the NBA Development League. Lin and Jordan were the first D-League assignments in Knicks history. ... Boxing champion Miguel Cotto, Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and former Mets catcher Mike Piazza were seated courtside.
